Puerto Vallarta fishing report January 2017

Puerto Vallarta fishing report January 2017 The water has really cooled down these last couple weeks and we have started to see more Roosterfish biting off point of Punta de Mita. The warmest water has been north of the point close to Sayulita where We have found Smaller sized Dorado averaging 10-25 lbs. With the water cooling down most of the Blue and Black Marlin have moved on but captain Cesar did start off the new year with a nice Blue Marlin He caught at Cobetena but that is the only Marlin report I have heard in the new year. The Yellowfin Tuna are bitiing 70+ miles offshore and the over night Tuna charters have been very succesful The Yellowfin Tuna seem to be growing in size 200+ but difficult to catch. read more
